Jac van Steen leads the UO LIVE on BBC Radio 3!

Tune in to BBC Radio 3 at 2pm on Friday 4 September to hear the Orchestra perform live for Afternoon on 3

We are delighted to announce that tomorrow, you will be able to hear us live! Alas, not in person just yet, but tune into BBC Radio 3 for Afternoon on 3 at 2pm to hear a live performance of Martinů's Concerto for Double String Orchestra, Piano and Timpani and Bartók's Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta, introduced by John Toal from the Waterfront Hall.

Conducting the performance is Jac van Steen, giving his first performance with his new title of 'Honorary Principal Guest Conductor'. It's been wonderful to have Jac with us for the last few weeks as we have returned to making music together.
