Ulster Orchestra, on Enniskillen’s Doorstep.

Join us and renowned husband and wife team Daniele Rustioni and Francesca Dego as the Ulster Orchestra arrives in Enniskillen next week. Thursday 15th of November sees the orchestra arrive in the Ardhowen theatre for a programme that includes Busoni, Mozart and Schubert. 

Mozart’s Strassburg concerto is based around a popular folk tune of the time, and was described by Mozart enthusiast Alfred Einstein as ‘an adagio that seems to have fallen straight from heaven.’ It is paired with Schubert’s Symphony No.9. Better known as the Great, the piece bursts with ambition and scale, conjuring up a vast landscape for the listener. 

This is a rare opportunity to see this amazing team in action in such an intimate venue as the Ardhowen Theatre.
