Bruch’s Violin Concerto and Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition

PROGRAMME
Bruch Violin Concerto No.1 in G minor, op.26
Mussorgsky Pictures at an Exhibition

ELLI CHOI VIOLIN
GABRIEL BEBEŞELEA CONDUCTOR

Is there a more beautiful violin concerto than Bruch’s? Probably not, especially when it’s played by Elli Choi on her stunning Stradivarius. In Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, colourfully orchestrated by Maurice Ravel, beautiful paintings come to life. This will be a great Sunday morning in the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, full of the kind of melodies you’ll walk out humming.

This concert has no intermission.
