Handel’s Messiah is still one of the most widely-performed and best-loved oratorios ever written and we are delighted to welcome back the charismatic Christopher Bell to conduct this year’s performance. A festive treat that is gloriously brought to life by the Ulster Orchestra, guest soloists and Belfast Philharmonic Choir.

COVID Procedures at the Waterfront Hall
Please be assured that we remain committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all audience members; we support the Waterfront and Ulster Hall in implementing COVID-Secure procedures to ensure this is the case. To this end, all ticket holders attending events at either venue will be required to complete a COVID Status Check on arrival at the venue. This process will be in place until at least 31 December, with reviews planned on an ongoing basis.
For your information, here is an overview of the measures that will be in place:
COVID Status Check
All ticket holders aged 18 and over, will need to provide one of the following:
- Proof of full vaccination
- Proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test
- Proof of natural immunity
Face coverings are mandatory and should be worn throughout your visit, including whilst seated. Face coverings may only be removed whilst eating or drinking.
Whilst there is no longer a requirement for social distancing in indoor seated venues, patrons must continue to comply with hospitality restrictions that require people to maintain social distance whilst accessing bar facilities and be seated while consuming food or drink. A cashless system is also in operation at venue bars.
