The Ulster Orchestra are delighted to return to the Old Church Centre, Cushendun for a night of classical music.

This year, Orchestra leader Ioana Petcu-Colan, Julia Doukakis (viola) and Thomas Isaac (cello) are joined by our flute section leader Mark Taylor for a programme which includes Mozart’s poised and elegant Flute Quartet in D, Beethoven’s effervescent Serenade for flute and strings, Martinů’s dramatic Three Madrigals for violin and viola and Villa-Lobos’s atmospheric Assobio a Játo (‘The Jet Whistle’), full of the colour of Brazilian folk music and with a sound effect surprise at its end!
