One of Haydn’s finest Symphonies follows, full of dark colour and melancholy, then immerse yourself in the elemental power of Brahms’s Tragic Overture.
The concert closes with selections from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, a ballet that tells a passionate tale of betrayal and the triumph of love over evil.
