Ulster Orchestra welcomes Deloitte as key partner for Schools Concerts programme

Deloitte will support all of this year’s Schools’ Concerts, as well as a season concert and a year-long corporate membership.

The Ulster Orchestra welcomes an exciting new partnership with Deloitte which provides valuable support for its upcoming Schoolsโ€™ Concerts series, an Ulster Hall concert and corporate membership.

This is the first time the Orchestra has partnered with Deloitte and it has come at a significant time for the charity. Michelle Baird, Head of Marketing & Corporate Fundraising for the Ulster Orchestra comments:

โ€œAs a charity, we need to attract funding from a wide variety of sources to help sustain all of our current activity now and in the future. We are hoping to engage more with the corporate sector, as potential partners can benefit in a number of ways including recognition in event programmes, advertising, social media promotion, staff wellbeing, branding and client entertainment opportunities. We are thrilled that Deloitte has come on board as our sponsor across several elements of our 2023/24 programme, in particular our Schoolsโ€™ Concerts series. This valuable initiative provides a wonderful opportunity for Primary School P4-P7 pupils across Derry-Londonderry, Newry, Ballymena, Omagh, Belfast and Enniskillen to experience the magic of the full Orchestra, right on their doorstep.โ€

Michelle adds:

โ€œThe partnership also includes sponsoring our wonderful Ulster Hall concert, โ€˜Pathรฉtiqueโ€™, on Friday 26 April 2024 and a year-long corporate membership, which enables Deloitte staff and clients to enjoy a range of concerts and meet Orchestra musicians and guest artists. We are most appreciative of Deloitteโ€™s support and look forward to working together in bringing the joy of live music across Northern Ireland.โ€

Danny McConnell, Deloitte Partner, comments:

โ€œWe are delighted to be working in partnership with the Ulster Orchestra this season and excited to support their series of schools concerts. We have seen first-hand how they bring high-quality music and world-class performance to schools across Northern Ireland through an interactive and fun learning experience to inspire the next generation of talent.โ€
