Ioana Petcu-Colan New Leader of the Ulster Orchestra

We are pleased to announce a new role for Ioana Petcu-Colan, former Associate Leader of the Orchestra.

We are pleased to announce that violinist Ioana Petcu-Colan becomes one of two new Leaders of the Ulster Orchestra, following a restructure of the front desk of the ensemble. Formerly Associate Leader, Ioana has played a significant role across the full range of the Orchestra’s activities, and we look forward to the next stage of our work together.  We thank Tamás Kocsis, who has led the orchestra since 2010 and has decided to leave the Ulster Orchestra. We appreciate his valued contribution and wish him well. We will be recruiting a second Leader in due course.
