Move to the Music: Musicians on Call

In partnership with Age NI, the Ulster Orchestra provides short performances and conversation with participants and residents in day centres and care homes throughout Northern Ireland.  

Musicians on Call has reached over 630 residents of care homes and day centres since May 2019 and anticipates reaching many more in the coming months. 

Repertoire was ideal for our service users who love all the American classics.  Staff observed service users singing all the words with their eyes closed, totally in the ‘zone’ – transported.

The service users were very impressed with Martin’s performance and song choices. Thank you so much for sending Martin to us at Skaino

Tenants loved his music and it was a wonderful performance and a major highlight for a dreary Monday afternoon!
